THE SLADKUS LAW GROUP HOSTS IN-HOUSE COUNSEL ROUNDTABLE EVENT

On February 21, 2019, The Sladkus Law Group hosted an intellectual property roundtable discussion featuring speakers from five (5) prominent companies based in Atlanta or with a strong Atlanta presence, including: The Weather Channel, Focus Brands (Cinnabon, Moe’s Southwest Grill, Schlotzsky’s, Jamba Juice, and more), CCA and B, LLC (creators of The Elf on the Shelf), Mud Pie, LLC (a leading manufacturer of gift and home goods), and McKesson Corporation (a global healthcare company). The event was co-sponsored by the Intellectual Property and Corporate Counsel Committees of the State Bar of Georgia Young Lawyers Division (“YLD”). Thirty (30) lawyers attended the event and participated in a discussion of the unique intellectual property issues facing each company while enjoying food, beer and wine provided by State Bar of Georgia and Elizabeth Gallo Court Reporting. The program was led by senior associate Jason H. Cooper, co-chair of the YLD IP Committee.
