Carrie is an intellectual property litigator and chair of the firm’s litigation practice. She has extensive experience in all aspects of patent, trademark, copyright, unfair competition and trade secret litigation in various courts and administrative agencies, as well as non-litigation aspects of intellectual property management and protection. She counsels clients on issues related to the management of national trademark and copyright enforcement programs, IP acquisitions and transfers, licensing, domain name enforcement and dispute resolution, and online IP protection strategies.
Carrie is admitted to practice in the state and federal courts in Georgia and Connecticut, the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York, and several federal Courts of Appeal. She practiced intellectual property litigation as an associate in two large Atlanta law firms before relocating to her home state of Connecticut, where she became a partner at Wiggin and Dana LLP. After living in the UK for several years, Carrie returned to Atlanta to continue her legal practice with The Sladkus Law Group. She and her family live in East Cobb County. Outside the office, Carrie enjoys traveling, indoor cycling, reading, and spending time with friends and family.
