Dana Schwind
Dana’s practice encompasses a broad range of intellectual property matters, including trademark prosecution and enforcement, worldwide trademark portfolio management, licensing, and copyright counseling. Dana draws on twenty years of experience at large and small firms to develop strategies and solutions best suited to a client’s needs.
Dana maintains an active trademark protection and enforcement practice representing small businesses as well as internationally recognized brands in a range of industries. In this role, Dana counsels clients on development, management and enhancement of portfolios, including trademark selection, application filing and prosecution, and maintenance of registrations. She also represents clients in trademark licensing matters and enforcement of their trademark rights. In addition, Dana has experience handling trademark disputes, including proceedings before the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board, management of international disputes, and drafting and negotiating trademark settlement and coexistence agreements.
Dana also assists clients with obtaining copyright registrations from the U.S. Copyright Office and with technology transactions, including the licensing and distribution of technology.
Dana graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from Boston College in 1993 and received a Juris Doctor degree from University of Miami in 1996.
Dana is a member of the State Bar of Georgia and the Florida Bar.
